Romans 15:13

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

JOY is a choice.

JOY is finding a reason to be at peace and to have a deep rooted, unshakable, unmoveable hope that cannot be easily disrupted. This hope reassures us that we are going to be okay and that all is well because at the end of the day God is good full stop. His nature is good, he is the very essence of goodness and purity. His design and plans are only for our good, thus at the end of the day all is well. So joy is remembering God’s nature, His design and Hisnplan and knowing beyond the temporary circumstance that all is well because He is good. It is trusting that all will be well when presently it may not look like it will be. Joy keeps us hopeful because beyond what we can see we can hold onto a promise and a peace. We are already okay and we have a saviour who is watching our every step how can he let us fall if we trust in HIM?

Decide today that beyond what you can see you will have a hope in joy knowing that you are okay and most importantly God is GOOD. Let joy keep you admist the storm, temptations and other issues of life. Stand firm in joy because it will help you through what feels like forever torment, it reminds you that nothing is permanent and you ALWAYS have something to give praise for. So today give praise because look at where you are, here!

Choose joy you have enough breath in your lungs and hope in your heart to release a praise and a thanks. Be at peace. Be at rest. God is your portion. His nature is good. This is temporary and you are already okay ❤

Dear God,

As we enter into a new season of unfamiliarity sometimes fear and hopelessness try to occupy the spaces of our hearts where joy and peace should be. May we choose joy going forward, intentionally seeking the will of you our Father and king and choosing to hope in your goodness instead. We trust your nature and your peace finds us in the worst seasons may we remember you are a promise keeper and the peace elf our lives we have joy knowing that you God of all creation who cares about even the hairs on our head are with us. In Jesus’ name, amen

Trust

God is teaching me/us trust today and going forward, his Word says in Proverbs 3: 5-6 “trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy paths.”

Trust- rely on , rest on

Trusting with ALL YOUR HEART means everything within your heart, all the concerns of the heart are relying on God. It means there is nothing in our hearts hidden from God, we have shown him everything concerning our heart and so we trust him with the sloghtest concern and detail. Truat means you have laid down your own understanding, believing that His is better even when you don’t fully comprehend it. It is just believing in Him and knowing his character is good and is love so his understanding and his ways are always to prosper.

In which ways can we trust God today? Even with the slightest detail write down every way you can trust God and lean not on your own understanding because you will fail each time you try to try God and still figure it out on your own. So today, let’s write down our heart’s fears, concerns and matters and let’s write how we are going to trust God with them.

God may we learn to trust in your name, you’re all knowing, all powerful, everywhere all at once you stand outside of time and space so with that knowing help us to TRUST YOU. We lift every concern, matter and thought gathered in our hearts to you and we decide instead of leaning in what we believe we understand, we trust in your with our WHOLE hearts. In Jesus’s name amen.

He that follows. . .

Today’s scripture is Proverbs 21:21 “He that followeth after righteousness and mercy, findeth life, righteousness and honour.”

When you follow after something more often that not they become your idol and you idolize the journey to get there. You can idolize wealth, relationships/marriage, upholding a particular image, physical attributes, material assets, ideas construed.

Anything

And I mean anything can be an idol if we follow after it and desire it with more than we ought. The word instructs us today to follow after righteous and mercy, we will then find a life of abundance. What we follow after is what we tend to worship. Use wisdom and seek to follow after a righteous, honourable, humble life and watch God provide.

Dear Heavenly Father, give me a heart that longs for your will rather than my own. May I seek after righteousness and things that concern your heart’s desires rather than the idols that take up space in mine. Open my eyes to those idols that may consume my thoughts more than they ought to. And bring me back to a place of repositioning myself to honour you with each decision in Jesus’s name I pray, amen and amen.

Psalm 147

Take your time to read:

King James Version

147 Praise ye the Lord: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely.

The Lord doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.

He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.

Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.

The Lord lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground.

Sing unto the Lord with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God:

Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.

He giveth to the beast his food, and to the young ravens which cry.

10 He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man.

11 The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.

12 Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem; praise thy God, O Zion.

13 For he hath strengthened the bars of thy gates; he hath blessed thy children within thee.

14 He maketh peace in thy borders, and filleth thee with the finest of the wheat.

15 He sendeth forth his commandment upon earth: his word runneth very swiftly.

16 He giveth snow like wool: he scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes.

17 He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold?

18 He sendeth out his word, and melteth them: he causeth his wind to blow, and the waters flow.

19 He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel.

20 He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the Lord.

I know this time of season is busy, take your time to digest all of what God is teaching you today and yet praise Him.

Praise His name above all circumstances here on the earth. Our God cannot and should not be compared to circumstantial issues, they are not stable.

Our God is dependable and is described as our firm foundation, when we talk about Him, we can only praise Him. Praise the God of Heaven who is seated above and beyond issues.

God loves you so much, obey His command and praise Him.

Prayer: Dear Father in Heaven, you sit high above all of my issues, issues that have no weight compared to your majesty. May I yet praise you in the midst of them and watch them crumble to your feet. You are God, majestic and Holy you are. I love you may you make your face to shine upon me today, may I praise you as I wake during my day, and as I sleep in Jesus’ name, amen.

Psalm 94

May you ponder this scripture in your heart, love❤ we are all God’s little loves

93 The Lord reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the Lord is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.

Thy throne is established of old: thou art from everlasting.

The floods have lifted up, O Lord, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves.

The Lord on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea.

Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O Lord, for ever.
